Weight Watchers Check-In: At a Loss

Finally!!  It took me doing 5 days of Atkins to get my scale moving in the right direction again.  I had gained 4 pounds over the last month and half and I was desperate to get a handle on it.  I needed a reset button and I knew the low carb diet would also help me kick my sweet cravings.  It worked.  I was down -2.4 this week as I headed back to my "old" meeting on Saturday mornings.  I love this group.  I left there and went straight to Harris Teeter to pick up a few new items that were mentioned in the meeting....like Walden Farms ZERO point dressing.  And honestly, it wasn't too bad.

This week's loss motivated me to get back to running, too.  I had run only a handful of times in the last month.  I'm shooting for twice a week in May and then up to three times a week in June.  I am still doing my HIIT workout, but it moved to Thursday and that's trickier for me.  So I have had to miss a few.  Luckily, I've been able to do Strength and Tone on Mondays.  I love a good weight workout.

I also discovered Chilly Cow this week.  I bought three flavors and they are all good.  I mean really good.  Mint Chocolate Chip, Cookie Dough, and Brown Butter Salted Caramel. This container is 7 points, but I can usually do with half of it (for 4 points).  They come two to a pack and you can pick them up at Walmart.

So I'm back to counting carbs again this week (and counting Blue Dots).  I still need to get another 2 pounds off so I can get back to where I was pre-April.  Then I get back to training for the next Half Marathon and heading towards Lifetime/Goal weight.  It's closer than it's ever been.

I feel better.  I feel motivated again.  I am ready to get back to it once and for all.  How's your week been?
