It's that time of year. Your skin is feeling the effects of the elements, inside and out! Are you starting to feel dry and itchy? I am. The winter cold and the indoor dry heat takes a toll on your skin. I can't stand for my hands to be dry. I hate it when my legs itch from the dry skin. And my lips....oh don't get my started. I'm already a lip balm addict on the quest for the best for my lips. It's a constant battle in the winter to keep my lips from drying out, especially at the gym.
Since my first order with Rodan and Fields, I have been using the Essentials Daily Body Moisturizer. I wasn't sure what Deane was talking about when she said I would come to love it. She was right. I don't like to leave home without it! I keep it in my purse and on my desk during the day at work. Its light with a fresh scent and it really works. It doesn't disappear until the next time I wash my hands. Then I need to reapply. The worst part? I wash my hands...a lot and I go through it quickly.
At first, I used it just on my hands, but I've found that I like it on my legs, too. I haven't branched out to full-on body use yet, but let's be honest....it's coming. This has been skin-saver this winter. I use it nightly after toner, but before the last moisturizer (when using my AMP MD Roller, I use it before the night renewing serum). It makes my skin feel so soft and supple when I get into bed at night. I almost can't stop touching my face. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is still as soft as it was the night before. My latest find in the Rodan and Fields line is the Redefine Lip Renewing Serum. This serum has vastly improved my dry lips. As a former smoker and a lover of straws--my lip wrinkles are beginning to rear their ugly lines. I apply a little bit every night before bed and in the morning before heading out the door to work. One capsule last me a couple of applications, as I am not one to like extra goop on my lips. I make sure they are plenty covered, but you'll find the capsule to be a gracious plenty. Retailing for $56 and Preferred Customer Price of $50, don't your lips deserve some love?
