Holy moly this new plan has been so EASY! I can't believe what a difference it has made in how I'm eating and tracking AND on the scale. Saturday, I was down 2.0 and feeling like this new plan will be a real game-changer in help me get to goal.
I hit blue dots every day but Sunday. Honestly, that's very normal for me to NOT have a blue dot on a Saturday or Sunday. Saturdays are my weigh-in days and I usually opt for a cheat meal (9 times out of 10 it's a cheeseburger) one of the weekend days. This past week, I had a Christmas party so there was plenty of junk and a lunchtime cheeseburger on Saturday and there's no blue dot. Either way, I am thrilled to see how easy it is for me to stay in the zone now. I can't say enough good things about it.
The single biggest factor of staying in the zone for me has been rotisserie chicken. No skin, white meat only. I bought a rotisserie chicken at Costco on Sunday and shredded it. I ate it with meals and as a snack with fruit mid-afternoon. This chicken has been a game-changer.
Don't forget my workouts, though. I have been sticking with my running 3 days a week. I had an 8-miler on Sunday, but managed to do it outside. We are just two weeks from the Disney Marathon weekend. I'm only running a 5 K then. My Half is in February. I love running Disney.
What's really been a game changer for me is my work outs at Fit Hub. I take an hour long HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout once a week. This class has made me stronger and leaner. This is a true fat-burning workout. We do everything from body weight workouts, to TRX, to cardio on the bike or treadmill. The BEST thing about this class? We've never done the same workout twice. Sure, there are moves we've done before, but never the same order. And I love TRX, too.....can't you see the love on my face?

I'm looking forward to see what the week leading up to Christmas brings. It's a hard time of year to "keep in the road." I am motivated more than ever to keep it up and with the support network I've built with workout friends and WW friends, I am certain I cannot fail!
Happy Monday, friends!
Laurie
