Don't mind me....I'm just a little slow this morning. Finally a day off and time to get things done around here. I cannot believe Christmas Eve is just a few days away.
Christmas Weekend Check List.....and what I'm doing....
Watching for Santa and enjoying the sights of the holidays. I love my parent's tree. It has ornaments my mom has collected my entire life, but also handmade ornaments from my aunt, my grandmother, and even me. My favorite are the angels on high on the moon. Those are true, antique ornaments. I remember them on my grandparent's tree.
Loving time to bake. Last year, I couldn't get Moravian Sugar Cake at Old Salem (it wasn't going to be ready for an hour), so I decided to give it try myself. I was pleasantly surprised at the success I had.
Working On my 2018 vision board. It's that time of year for reviewing 2017 and looking ahead and planning out next year. What success did I have this year? What are my goals for next year? It's been a while since I have made a vision board, so I am excited to see what I come up with and see how my priorities have changed.
Waiting for our Disney vacation. I am so excited to take a trip after Christmas. It's the perfect time of year to fly south for some warm weather. It's been a few years since I've been to Florida in January. I'm hoping for warm weather and lots of sunshine.
Noticing the change in my skin. I noticed yesterday my skin seemed brighter and less splotchy. This selfie....with no filter....says it all. I'm a long way from where I want to be, but the fact that I noticed it without a side-by-side comparison says a lot. I love being a Rodan and Fields independent consultant so I can share my own skin care journey with you.
Merry Christmas, friends! Enjoy the holiday season and spend time with those you love. Life is short, so make the most of it!Laurie
Perfect time for Disney! I always want to take a vacation in January but I fear snow delays.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, how did Christmas come and go so quickly?! I hope you have a fun Disney trip! I got excited for a sec thinking you were visiting Disneyland by me! lol
