There is nothing better than taking an art class. Time to relax, re-focus, and redefine your artistic direction. On Saturday, I took a pastels workshop with artist, Bill Gramley. Bill is from Winston and has been creating, showing, and teaching art for years. His background story is amazing and if you sign up for class, he will tell you about it.
I have taken classes at Sawtooth (Winston-Salem) from him before, so when I saw that TAG (Theater Art Galleries) was offering a morning workshop with him, I jumped at the chance. It was such great fun and wonderful to meet other people who enjoy the arts. I had a great time with old friends, too.
During the two and half hour workshop, we completed three works. My Clouds are my favorite. I love beach scenes and I know I will be doing more of them in the future. I own one of Bill's works of the beach. It's a sunrise and it's my favorite of all time.
